I am not being racist, rather being realistic.
I don’t care who laughs and who doesn’t, but I do care if they start another armed struggle. The infighting among us will only make the enemy strong. A lesson the sinhalese failed to understand through out history.

It sounds racist but its true. There are some very intelligent Sinhalese but they are a residual minority.
Most Sinhalese are good for ‘Kaapalla Beepalla Jolly Kerre Palla’
This is exactly how they behaved when the war end was announced. The world was shocked. After wars, people light candles, hold silent prayer, go to church, temple. Overall a solemn and quiet feeling of sadness and relief.
But not with Sinhalese. It was all firecrackers and dancing on the street like a street carnival.
The majority of sinhalese dont seem to understand the concept of state terrorism. But they are realising now. The Raja family is going to let it sink in. And its happening fast. Ofcourse Sinhalese take slightly longer to understand.
